Robeco Digital Innovations is an actively managed fund that invests worldwide in equities from developed and emerging countries. The selection of these stocks is based on a fundamental analysis. The fund's objective is to achieve a better return than the index. The fund invests in a number of structural growth trends on the production side of the economy, such as robots and automation, digital enablers and secure digital infrastructure. The fund managers try to select stocks of the structural winners within these trends.

Daniel Ernst is Portfolio Manager Digital Innovations, Technology Analyst and member of the Thematic Investing team. In his role as Technology Analyst, he is dedicated to the Global Consumer Trends strategy. He joined Robeco in 2020. Daniel has held several positions as analyst, consultant and director of research at various companies in New York over the past 25 years, and was most recently senior analyst at Purchase Park Capital. He started his career in the industry in 1995 as a Communications Sector Analyst. Daniel holds an M.A in Economics from George Washington University. Steef Bergakker is Portfolio Manager Robeco Global Multi-Thematic (2024), Rolinco (2020), Portfolio Manager Robeco Digital Innovations (2019) and member of the Thematic Investing team. Previously, he was trends researcher and has authored several white papers. Before that, Steef was portfolio manager of Robeco Infrastructure Equities and Robeco Hollands Bezit. Prior to rejoining Robeco in 2008, Steef held different functions at IRIS (Institute for Research and Investment Services), the former research joint venture of Robeco and Rabobank. From 1998 through 2008 he served as head of IRIS Equity Research, and before that he worked as equity analyst for eight years. Steef started his career in the investment industry at Robeco in 1990 as an analyst. He holds a Master's in Monetary Economics and Finance and Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Error de seguimiento ex-post (%) The ex-post tracking error is defined as the volatility of the fund's achieved excess return over the index return. In fund management, most managers are subject to an ex-ante (pre-determined) tracking error, which defines the extent of the additional risk they may take when aspiring to outperform the fund's benchmark. The ex-post tracking error explains the distribution of past fund performances compared to those of its underlying benchmark. With a higher tracking error, the fund's returns deviate more from its index's returns, hence there is a greater chance that the fund may outperform. The wider the spread of returns relative to the benchmark, the more "actively" a fund has been managed. In contrast, a low tracking error indicates more "passive" management.	8.98	9.49

The fund is established in Luxembourg and is subject to the Luxembourg tax laws and regulations. The fund is not liable to pay any corporation, income, dividend or capital gains tax in Luxembourg. The fund is subject to an annual subscription tax ('tax d'abonnement') in Luxembourg, which amounts to 0.01% of the net asset value of the fund. This tax is included in the net asset value of the fund. The fund can in principle use the Luxembourg treaty network to partially recover any withholding tax on its income.

Global equity markets experienced increased volatility in June as stronger-than-expected US labor market data reduced expectations for near-term Federal Reserve rate cuts and pushed bond yields higher. Investor sentiment was further weighed down by ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. While underlying trends in artificial intelligence remained supportive, concerns emerged around the durability of AI-related growth and the returns on significant infrastructure investments. This led to a reassessment of some technology valuations despite continued strong demand for AI capabilities. Semiconductors remained a notable area of strength, significantly outperforming broader technology markets. Against this backdrop, global equities posted modest increases during the month. Technology shares underperformed, particularly software companies, while the Magnificent Seven continued to lag. Emerging market technology also softened, and Chinese internet stocks remained under pressure amid weak investor sentiment.

Based on transaction prices, the fund's return was -1.88%. Robeco Digital Innovations underperformed versus the MSCI ACWI in June, amid a more challenging environment for technology stocks. Performance dispersion remained elevated across segments, with Security and Frontier & Other Technologies again emerging as the strongest contributors, while Software and Artificial Intelligence weighed on returns. Security (+19.6%) continued to benefit from strong earnings momentum and investor demand for cybersecurity solutions, with Palo Alto Networks among the top contributors. Frontier & Other Technologies (+18.8%) also performed well, supported by improving sentiment toward semiconductor and AI-related innovators. Digital Infrastructure delivered positive returns, reflecting continued strength in memory semiconductor technologies and AI infrastructure spending. In contrast, Artificial Intelligence (-3.4%) and Software (-8.9%) came under pressure as investors reassessed the potential returns on AI-related investments and adjusted expectations for interest rates. Top contributors included Palo Alto Networks, ASML and Lam Research, while Microsoft, Amazon and Broadcom were the main detractors during the month.

While macroeconomic conditions may influence the pace of investment, the direction of innovation remains firmly positive. Artificial intelligence continues to be the primary engine of technology spending and earnings growth. Beyond digital applications, AI is increasingly being deployed in robotics and industrial automation, helping address labor shortages, production bottlenecks and the reshoring of manufacturing activity. At the same time, rising investment in domestic manufacturing is creating additional opportunities across the technology value chain. As digitalization expands, cybersecurity remains a critical area of focus as both organizations and threat actors increasingly adopt AI-driven capabilities. We remain confident that the strategy's themes are well positioned to deliver attractive long-term growth, although elevated expectations following several years of strong performance may create periods of near-term volatility.
