Has globalization come to a standstill?
If Covid taught us anything, it’s that it’s not smart to have centralized supply systems that can be shut off in a lockdown. The Russia-Ukraine war has only exacerbated the problem as sanctions close down vital supplies of energy and food, leading to even more rampant inflation. Globalization, it would seem, is on its way out.
