The SI Thought Leadership team drives research, analytics, and policy development in key areas of Robeco’s Sustainable Investing (SI) strategy, such as climate change, biodiversity, social rights, sustainable development goals and SI data. Interns support our work though focused projects that typically take 4 to 6 months. These projects aim to further develop Robeco’s SI strategy, giving you an opportunity to interact with, and learn from, colleagues across Robeco’s teams.

Main areas of responsibilities

Interns will support the Thought Leadership team in operationalizing our biodiversity investment framework. This includes:

  • Supporting the implementation of analytics tools and dashboard to support investment insights

  • Applying the framework in company assessments

  • Conducting sector reviews

  • Reviewing data sources to enhance our framework

  • Collaborating with colleagues across Robeco’s SI Centre of Expertise and investment teams

What we are looking for

  • Current master students that have a strong academic background in fields like finance, (business) economics, or environmental sciences.

  • Skills in data analytics, research methods, attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Availability to work full time in Rotterdam for a period of 4-6 months. Starting date: Q3 2024

  • All the internship vacancies at Robeco in Rotterdam are open to students enrolled at a university during the entire duration of their internship. Our interns must also be eligible for a residence permit to do an internship in the Netherlands. This means we can recruit EU citizens studying at a global university or non-EU citizens studying at a Dutch university.
