Patrick Lemmens and Jeroen van Oerle, Portfolio Managers of Robeco Global FinTech Equities, said: “We are extremely proud and grateful that clients already see the potential of a fund that was launched only six months ago. FinTech is a powerful growth trend, which is not just going be around for the next couple of years, but in ten years from now and beyond. We’re also proud of the performance that we’ve been able to achieve for our clients, and this shows that FinTech is investible from a listed perspective. We continue to see a couple of structural trends in the FinTech space with a lot of potential. For example, we believe that online payment methods will become mainstream, that cash payments will be an exception, and that digital finance will open the way to two billion people who currently don’t manage their own financial affairs. This shows that there is still a lot of potential, and we’re looking forward to taking advantage of these trends, to make sure that we keep adding value for our clients.”
