Sylvia is a Senior Engagement Specialist at the Governance and Active Ownership department of Robeco. On behalf of Robeco and its clients, she enters into dialog with invested companies on environmental topics encouraging them to improve their conduct. Sylvia is a member of the UN PRI Working Group on Methane Emissions, a member of the ICCR Climate Working Group, and a member of the RI Group of EFAMA. Furthermore, Sylvia is actively involved in acquisition processes and holds direct client responsibilities. She regularly presents at conferences and delivers publications.

She started as a Senior Engagement Specialist at Robeco in April 2010. She began her career with Centraal Beheer in 1988 and moved to PGGM in 1990 where she held positions as senior Portfolio Manager at various teams at the investment department.

Sylvia is a member of the Supervisory Board of Triodos Groenfonds. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Tilburg, is an investment analyst (RBA) and is registered with the Dutch Securities Institute as senior asset manager.
