Robeco Global Multi-Thematic is an actively managed fund that invests worldwide in equities from developed and emerging countries. The selection of stocks is based on fundamental analysis. The strategy’s objective is to achieve a better return than the MSCI ACWI Index. The fund invests in companies incorporating or exercising a major part of their economic activities in identified themes. These include transforming technologies, changing sociodemographic, and preserving earth. This is achieved by investing in firms that are well positioned to benefit from structural changes in the economy as well as companies contributing to solving nature-based problems, fulfilling basic societal needs and addressing inefficiencies.

She joined Robeco in 2021. Dora holds experience as a buy-side research analyst and investment manager with Baillie Gifford for 6 years. Previously, she was a research consultant for a UK-based global impact fund, providing long-term fundamental and sustainability-focused investment research. Dora is a CFA® Charterholder and obtained her Master of Arts in Economics and Chinese from the University of Edinburgh. Steef Bergakker is Portfolio Manager Robeco Global Multi-Thematic (2024), Rolinco (2020), Portfolio Manager Robeco Digital Innovations (2019) and member of the Thematic Investing team. Previously, he was trends researcher and has authored several white papers. Before that, Steef was portfolio manager of Robeco Infrastructure Equities and Robeco Hollands Bezit. Prior to rejoining Robeco in 2008, Steef held different functions at IRIS (Institute for Research and Investment Services), the former research joint venture of Robeco and Rabobank. From 1998 through 2008 he served as head of IRIS Equity Research, and before that he worked as equity analyst for eight years. Steef started his career in the investment industry at Robeco in 1990 as an analyst. He holds a Master's in Monetary Economics and Finance and Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Annalisa Piva is Portfolio Manager of the Robeco Global Multi-Thematic, Rolinco and member of the Thematic Investing team. She conducts research to support investment strategy and decision making. She develops investment cases and writes whitepapers. These help to articulate and refine the team’s thematic convictions. Prior to transitioning to Global Multi-Thematics, she was dedicated to a strategy focused on capturing digital exposure within Emerging Markets. Annalisa started her career as consultant at KPMG Italy in 2019 before joining Robeco in 2022. She holds a Master’s in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. Sipho Arntzen is Portfolio Manager of the Robeco Global Multi-Thematic, Rolinco and member of the Thematic Investing team. He conducts research to support investment strategy and decision making. He joined Robeco in 2024 from Groundlake Partners in Zurich, an Asset Manager focused on investing in innovations that accelerate the transition to sustainable economies. Prior to that, he worked at Julius Baer Group in Zurich, where he was a thematic analyst in their Next Generation Research team. He started his career at Goldman Sachs, in London as an equity analyst in the European Energy Research team in the Global Investment Research division. Sipho has a BSc in International Business Administration and an MSc in Finance and Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management.

Tracking error a posteriori (%) The ex-post tracking error is defined as the volatility of the fund's achieved excess return over the index return. In fund management, most managers are subject to an ex-ante (pre-determined) tracking error, which defines the extent of the additional risk they may take when aspiring to outperform the fund's benchmark. The ex-post tracking error explains the distribution of past fund performances compared to those of its underlying benchmark. With a higher tracking error, the fund's returns deviate more from its index's returns, hence there is a greater chance that the fund may outperform. The wider the spread of returns relative to the benchmark, the more "actively" a fund has been managed. In contrast, a low tracking error indicates more "passive" management.	5.51	-
Information ratio This ratio serves to evaluate the quality of the excess return a fund manager has achieved because it takes the active risk involved into account. The information ratio is defined as the excess return over the benchmark return divided by the fund's tracking error. The higher the information ratio, the better. The fund is established in Luxembourg and is subject to the Luxembourg tax laws and regulations. The fund is not liable to pay any corporation, income, dividend or capital gains tax in Luxembourg. The fund is subject to an annual subscription tax ('tax d'abonnement') in Luxembourg, which amounts to 0.01% of the net asset value of the fund. This tax is included in the net asset value of the fund. The fund can in principle use the Luxembourg treaty network to partially recover any withholding tax on its income.

Global equity markets remained volatile in July, although broad indices proved relatively resilient. Market leadership shifted away from AI-infrastructure beneficiaries, while previously lagging areas of the market attracted renewed investor interest. Despite a pullback in technology shares, corporate earnings provided important support, with results generally exceeding expectations across both the US and Europe. Macro and market sentiment were increasingly driven by the second-quarter earnings season. Earnings growth was broad across sectors and regions, while the number of companies raising full-year profit guidance reached its highest level since 2021. These developments helped reinforce confidence in the underlying strength of corporate fundamentals, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions and elevated market volatility. Investor attention remained firmly focused on artificial intelligence. Better-than-expected cloud growth and continued AI spending helped improve sentiment toward the theme late in the month, after a period of weakness in AI-infrastructure-related stocks.

Based on transaction prices, the fund's return was 0.54%. The Global Multi-Thematic strategy outperformed the MSCI ACWI in July. Stock selection was the primary driver of outperformance, while asset allocation and currency effects detracted from returns. Changing Sociodemographics was the strongest-performing theme, supported by positive contributions from healthcare, Chinese internet and emerging e-commerce holdings. Transforming Technologies declined modestly as a sharp rotation away from AI infrastructure weighed on semiconductor-related positions, although sentiment improved toward month-end following strong earnings from major technology companies. Preserving Earth was the weakest-performing theme, reflecting broad weakness in sustainability-related and industrial technology holdings despite positive stock selection. At the stock level, Microsoft, Amazon and IQVIA were the largest contributors to performance. In contrast, TSMC, Infineon Technologies and Prysmian were the main detractors during the month.
