The world is becoming more unpredictable, as tariffs continue to influence trade dynamics and investment flows, and new threats emerge, such as potential conflicts over Greenland and Iran. Gold’s meteoric rise bears testimony to how many investors are seeking safe havens. Indeed, many EM areas are starting to become desirable alternatives to potentially over-priced Western equities and an AI bubble. But that doesn’t mean equity investing is any less fruitful than it ever was.
In these uncertain times, the biannual Robeco Africa Investment Symposium aims to chart a clear path forward. In this interactive two-day educational program at our Rotterdam headquarters, we will explore the implications of global tensions and an economic landscape that is gradually shifting toward emerging markets – bringing both opportunities and challenges – as the world order changes.
