Below you can see the Super Quants that we selected for internships in 2014 and the grades they received for their theses. We are constantly looking for new Super Quants and give you the opportunity to be on top of the list next year. Moreover, doing an internship at Robeco gives you many excellent opportunities at the job market after your graduation.
Yifan Zhang (China) from the Quantitative Finance & Actuarial Science master programme at Tilburg University obtained an 8.5 for her research on Gender Diversity and Its Impact on Financial Performance. Her internship supervisors at Robeco were Wilma de Groot (right on the picture) and Michiel van Esch (left on the picture). Yifan will continue her career with a one year Econometrics and Mathematical Economics master programme at Tilburg University.
Milan Vidojevic (Serbia) from the Master in Financial Economics programme of the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtained a 9.3 for his research on factor timing. His internship supervisor at Robeco was Simon Lansdorp (not on the picture), he received his well-deserved Super Quant Bonus cheque from Shengsheng Zhang (left on the picture) and Roderick Molenaar (on the far right of the picture). After his internship Milan started the ambitious Robeco PhD Programme: combining a PhD-track at the Free University of Amsterdam with a research position at the Robeco Quantitative Research department. We wish Milan all the best in his future career!
Ana Maria Morarescu (Romania) from the Master in Financial Economics programme of the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtained an 8 for her research on seasonality in global government bond returns. She received her well-deserved Super Quant Bonus cheque from her internship supervisor at Robeco Johan Duyvesteyn (left on the picture), and Martin Martens (right of the picture). We wish Ana Maria all the best in her future career!
