Rotterdam, 4 December 2025 – Robeco today announced that Marcel Prins is stepping down as Chief Operating Officer, Management Board member and member of the Executive Committee as of 1 January 2026. Announcements on the succession of his role and responsibilities are expected soon.
Marcel Prins, COO at Robeco: “In these past years, I’ve had the privilege to strengthen our digital foundations, shape a long-term vision for technology and operations, grow our DE&I ambition and build a strong leadership team within the COO domain. I’m proud of the stable organization we’ve built, and the increased use of data-driven insights. After careful consideration, I’ve decided that my next step will be to contribute in non-executive roles.”

Prins will continue to support Robeco as an advisor to the Management Board until 1 April 2026, rounding off several specific projects.
