Send a 2 minute motivational video why you would like to be considered for a sustainable investing internship, your resume and two recent publications on sustainability to SI_Internships@robeco.nl. We will confirm your application and let you know whether you have made it through to our selection round in the months ahead of the internship. After this we invite the selected applicants for a first round interview. The second round consists of a take-home assignment where you conduct an analysis on a single company and present your findings with a memo to one of our specialists.
For all the internship vacancies at Robeco in Rotterdam the positions are open for students that are enrolled at the university at least on the first day of their internship. We require interns to be entitled to have a permit to do an internship in the Netherlands. This means we can recruit EU citizens studying at a global university or non-EU citizens studying at a Dutch university.
In the selection round we look at your motivation video, resume and two publication on sustainability you have worked on during your studies. Your affinity with sustainability needs to speak from all these documents. During our first interview we will look at your level of analytical skills that we require for our internships. Lastly, each year we aim to recruit a diverse generation of sustainable investing interns, in terms of gender, nationality, master’s program and personality.
The majority of our internships are working internships where you support current projects in the various teams of the SI Center of Expertise or Robeco Investments. In a number of cases we offer the opportunity to write your thesis as part of your internship, you can always provide your ideas for a thesis project during your application.
You will be supervised by experienced professionals with decades of experience in sustainable investing, often also with a PhD or CFA charter. Each team has an internship coordinator who focuses on your internship learning objectives and provides direct feedback on your performance throughout your internship.
