About Mark van der Kroft
Mark van der Kroft is Chief Investment Officer (CIO). In 2023 he was appointed Chief Investment Officer, overseeing Fundamental & Quant Equities, Fixed Income and Sustainability.
Since his appointment as CIO Fundamental and Quant Equity in September 2020, Mark has been a member of the Executive Committee. Before this role he re-joined Robeco in June 2018 as Head of Trends and Thematic investing. Prior to that, he worked at NN Investment Partners as Director Strategic Business Development and at Robeco for 16 years in various roles. He started his career in the industry in 1990 as economist at ABN AMRO Bank and later fulfilled roles as Head of Government Bond Research and proprietary bond trader before he joined Robeco in 2000. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Monetary Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
