Lukas Daalder has decided to leave Robeco

24-04-2018 | Insight

Lukas Daalder has decided to leave Robeco at the end of June for an opportunity elsewhere. He will stay on until the end of June to ensure a smooth transition. A decision about his succession will be made in the coming period.

  • Lukas Daalder
Former CIO Robeco Investment Solutions. Daalder left Robeco in July 2018.

Lukas Daalder joined Robeco in December 2009 as a senior strategist and was appointed senior portfolio manager Multi-Asset in November 2011. In 2014, he was appointed CIO Investment Solutions and head of the Solutions Products team, focusing on fundamental multi-asset products.

Lukas Daalder “It has been my pleasure and privilege to have worked with the inspiring colleagues of Robeco and Corestone for the last eight years. Much has been achieved during that time, both for our clients and for the company. I am honored that my team and I have contributed to the success of Robeco’s Fiduciary business as well as the Retail business. I feel that now is the time to broaden my horizon and let someone else take my place to grow Robeco’s multi-asset business.”

Lukas has been instrumental in the success of Robeco’s content marketing approach, and features prominently on our website with numerous publications. These included daily blogs like ‘the best of the web’, the monthly outlook, and Investment Solutions’ flagship publication, Expected Returns, which won several Savvy Investor Awards, including ‘Best Investment Paper of 2016’ and ‘Best Asset Allocation Paper 2017'.

Lukas: "It has always been my pleasure to contribute and write actively about the markets and the direction we feel they are going to take. I find satisfaction in trying to inform and help investors from retail to high-end institutional with the issues that are on their mind. That was the reason for instance why I started with the ‘best of the web’ years ago and kept the drive to do that on an daily business. Robeco has given me the opportunity to share my views in multiple ways with our audiences, and it has always been a great inspiration and motivation for me."

Robeco will stay committed to actively sharing investment opinions with its clients, and the team will continue creating a flow of interesting thought-leader pieces for all Robeco’s stakeholders.
