We launched our SI Open Access Initiative in August last year with a simple pledge – to share our valuable data as widely as possible, and gather feedback so we can improve it. We began with our SDG Framework explaining how we score companies on their contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals. Now we’re expanding it further by adding the Country Sustainability Ranking (CSR) data and visualization tools.
Country Sustainability Ranks
The CSR has helped investors understand the sustainability risk of countries since 2012. It now measures the environmental, social and governance (ESG) credentials of more than 150 developed and developing countries around the world. Such information is vital for sovereign bond investing, and wider issues such as combatting climate change.
Release August 29, 2022
Robeco has today launched its SI Open Access Initiative which as a first step will give clients and academia access to data on how companies are contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that creating a more sustainable world and promoting sustainable investing means sharing our intellectual property to a broader audience. So, we’ve started this initiative by firstly offering free access to our SDG scores: a framework pioneered by Robeco back in 2017.
At a later stage, Robeco plans to make other SI data available. The open access initiative offers insight into an individual company’s SDG scores, which we think will further promote and encourage research and ideas on SDG investing, and help clients to make better-informed investment decisions.
SDG scores
The SDGs are becoming increasingly relevant for investors. By using the SDG scores you can measure progress of companies over time against sustainable objectives, steer on exposure to SDGs, and report on them. Robeco has long been committed to promoting sustainable investing through thought leadership, and we believe that working together in the financial sector will improve data and define standards. With the SI Open Access Initiative, Robeco aims to make a significant further contribution to this.Release June 13, 2022

User administration
MyRobeco administrators can add, block and delete users and assign and deassign portfolios to these users. Therefore, they can decide which employees within the client’s company are allowed to see which portfolios and account information and reports. As a rule, Robeco does not know exactly who in a client’s company has been assigned these permissions; nor does it have much information on movers, leavers and joiners at the client’s company. The Self Service Administration Tools are an important and helpful instrument for our clients.
Go to the Administration menu option in the top-right dropdown menu.
If no users are available yet, select the Add user button to open the Create user dialogue. Fill in the requested username and email fields and select the portfolios which should be made available for the user. The email address must be valid for your company’s email domains. To prevent access from unauthorized email-domains, this means you can only select a domain from a business domain list approved by Robeco.
The user will be notified via an ‘onboarding email’ with instructions on how to set up the Multi Factor Authentication and log in to MyRobeco for the first time. More information can be found in the administrator manual.Go to the menu option Administration on the top-right dropdown menu. Select the user and click the Edit user icon on the right side of the user list. You can edit the user’s status to block/unblock them by clicking the appropriate button. The user’s permissions will then be revoked and their access to MyRobeco will be blocked until it is reactivated (unblocked). More information can be found in the administrator manual.
Go to the Administration menu option in the top-right dropdown menu. Select the user and click the Edit user icon on the right side of the user list. You can remove the user by clicking the Delete button. The user will be permanently removed from the authorized user list and they will no longer be able to access the portal. More information can be found in the administrator manual.
Support
The MyRobeco application relies on a number of technical components. It is designed as a web application, so to use MyRobeco you will need an up-to-date web browser and authorization from your system administrator. If you have any technical questions about the use of MyRobeco, the authentication/authorization login procedure or gaining access, please contact MyRobeco support.
The data shown on MyRobeco is derived from Robeco’s reporting systems. If you have any questions about that data or the reports that are available for download, please contact your Client Services representative. You can find the contact details on the Dashboard page or send an email to Client Service.
What should I do?
MyRobeco presents data from several source systems and sometimes technical errors may occur. If this is the case, you might see an error message. To enable us to resolve such unexpected errors, please share your experience with the Development Team by contacting your Client Service representative and providing as much detail as possible.
What could be wrong?
Access to the MyRobeco relies on regular login activity with an authorized account. If a user account isn’t used for six months, it will be blocked. To regain access, please contact your company’s administrator.
Account / Portfolio
Your company’s administrator is authorized to assign rights to view accounts and portfolios available to them. If you think there are more portfolios available within the company’s environment but can’t see them, please contact your MyRobeco administrator. If the administrator doesn’t have access to them, they should contact Client Service.
A wide range of reports is available for institutional clients investing in Mandates. The reports that are configured for you as a client will depend on the contractual agreements made during onboarding. These reports are in XLS or PDF format and available for download. Please contact your sales or Client Service representatives if you have any questions about the reports available.
In addition to reports, you can download data files (CSV) for the portfolio holdings and portfolio mutations (date range). These are available in two forms: as a complete set or based on a selection based on portfolio position category (holdings) or date range (mutations).A favorite portfolio is the one which will be automatically selected each time you log in to the Client Portal.
In the portfolio dropdown list, click on the star symbol next to the portfolio you want to set as favorite.
In accordance with our Product Information Transparency policy, MyRobeco provides portfolio position data as of month-end when reporting is delayed. This ensures transparency without compromising the integrity of our investment process and guarantees equal treatment for all clients and investors, maintaining a level playing field. Our reporting is tailored to meet the needs of all target groups, while ensuring the confidentiality of individual client and employee information. This approach safeguards fairness and protects the fund’s performance.
Logging in
Access to MyRobeco can be granted by an administrator from your own company. This person will be authorized to assign and deassign users within your company, therefore they can add colleagues as users of MyRobeco and assign access to the accounts/portfolios accessible to them.
Because your personal access relies on two-factor authentication that helps secure the company’s portfolio data, you will need a mobile phone to set up Multi Factor Authentication. The user guide provided by your administrator explains the login procedure and how to set up your mobile phone. How can I reset it and create a new one?
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a password reset link by clicking on ‘Don’t remember your password’ on the initial login screen.
I have forgotten my Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) access details or I have a new mobile phone.
If you have forgotten your MFA access code or lost/replaced your mobile phone, your MyRobeco administrator should be able to help you out. They can delete-recreate a new account to kick-off the initial onboarding process and restart the mobile phone initialization process.
How can I set my new password?
In the event of link expiration after the 28-day validity period, kindly request a new one by clicking on “login in for professional investors” and select “Forgot password?”. Submit your email address and click “Continue”. Next, you will receive an email confirming your request, along with a secure link to change your password.
Developer API
Robeco is constantly investing in adding business value for clients through digital exposure to data, products and services. An example is a recent innovation project that provides secure internet access to client-specific data. The technology used is REST/Json Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Due to the confidential nature of the client data involved, API access is restricted to explicitly authorized users. Both user authentication and data authorization are secured using the latest security standards and technology. All data presented on the MyRobeco is retrieved through APIs and as such serves as a good example of the data that is available and what can be achieved (e.g. portfolio data).
