Thought Leadership

The SI Thought Leadership team drives research and policy development in key areas of Robeco’s Sustainable Investing (SI) strategy, such as climate change, biodiversity, sustainable development goals and SI data. Interns support our work though focused research projects that typically take 4 to 6 months. These projects aim to provide new insights to Robeco’s SI strategy, giving you an opportunity to interact with, and learn from, colleagues across Robeco’s teams.

The Thought Leadership team is currently recruiting an intern starting in February 2023.

Candidate profile

We are looking for current master students that have a strong academic background in fields like finance, (business) economics or international studies, combined with a demonstrated interest in sustainability. A successful candidate will enjoy doing research, liaising with multiple stakeholders, and translating the findings into actionable products (e.g. reports, tools, presentations). Skills in research methods, social engagement, data analytics, creativity and inquisitiveness - all centered around sustainability - are what we are looking for.

All the internship vacancies at Robeco in Rotterdam are open to students enrolled at a university on at least the first month of their internship. Our interns must also be eligible for a residence permit to do an internship in the Netherlands. This means we can recruit EU citizens studying at a global university or non-EU citizens studying at a Dutch university.
