Robeco is committed as an organization to achieve our net zero ambition for 2050. To meet this ambition we are working to reduce our operational carbon footprint in our operation and our investments. The facility management team as part of the COO Office department and the Global Procurement department are working closely together to drive and monitor the sustainability of Robeco with regard to Carbon footprint and waste. Although the teams have a lot of knowledge and experience in the area of Facility Management and Procurement the subjects ‘zero waste’ and ‘Carbon footprint’ are relative new, but exiting. We are looking for an intern in our team to help building the monitoring and reporting framework to monitor progress from ourselves as operating company but also from our suppliers in achieving our ambitious waste and Carbon target for 2025. Next to this the activities of the intern will be focused on conducting research to support the reduction of the carbon footprint of Robeco’s operations, including key components like our building, datacenters and business travel.
For this position both current Bachelor or Master students can apply. We are interested to work with candidates from a broad range of studies from climate change, financial economics to business administration and finance. The team is recruiting interns based on an open vacancy for a 5 to 6 month internship located at our Robeco Netherlands office in Rotterdam. Proficient in Dutch as well as English language (written and spoken). A successful candidate will enjoy doing research, liaising with multiple stakeholders in the organization, and translating the findings into actionable products (e.g. reports, tools, presentations).
