Global Product Management & Development (GPM&D)

Global Product Management & Development (GPM&D), situated in Rotterdam, aims for a client-focused and profitable range of investment capabilities and products, which are built on vision, passion and powerful cooperation of its employees. GPM&D consists of three teams: Strategic Product Development, Product Delivery and Product Management. Within Product Delivery we are looking for a Product Delivery Manager

Your role

  • You will have a regional focus; specific Robeco target market(s) will be your responsibility
  • You will be in close contact with the sales colleagues within your regional focus, and have direct contact with prospects, clients and other external parties (e.g. service providers, legal advisors)
  • You need to identify specific client demand/trends/opportunities in these markets (genuine outside-in approach)
  • You need to be able to translate specific client demand to viable solutions. Give advice on how to structure the solution; e.g. via a mandate or fund. Address topics like; what is cost effective, how do we secure a robust fulfillment?
  • You will be responsible for setting up new funds, and the coordination of actual client onboardings in bespoke solutions (mandates or funds). This means liaising with multiple internal (e.g. risk management, compliance, legal affairs, back office and fiscal) and external stakeholders (e.g. clients, client’s service providers/legal advice).

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant full-time work experience, preferably within product management or product solutions team
  • In-depth knowledge about fund structures and mandates
  • An entrepreneurial and creative mindset; a can-do mentality!
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Have a true global mindset; sensitive for cultural differences
  • Able to work independently, but always connected to the team
  • Ability to form an independent opinion
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Preferably also a 2nd language (other than Dutch)
