The Business Control & Finance department (BC&F) is situated in Rotterdam and responsible for Robeco's global accounting, financial & management reporting, payroll and business control. This includes over 40 legal entities of which half abroad. BC&F consists of 25 FTE and aims to stimulate development of individuals and teams, values cooperation & knowledge sharing and applies high quality ambitions. The BC&F department is organized within the CFRO domain, acts as linking pin to foreign (accounting & payroll) service providers and consists of four teams: Accounting, Controlling, Workforce Finance and Business Finance.

Within the department, team Workforce Finance is the expertise centre in the field of financial accounting and management reporting concerning internal and external staff. Amongst other this includes payroll, FTE & costs reporting and the accountability of incentives. The culture within the department is open and result-oriented.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Payroll Specialist.

Job description

The main focus areas for the position are:

  • Set up, manage and control the international payroll activities.
  • Partly responsible for the daily operational execution and quality of the salary administration in the Netherlands.
  • Planning and organizing the payroll activities.
  • Operational contact person for payroll providers, HR department, Global Mobility and Fiscal Affairs.

  • You ensure compliance with procedures (SOx) and legislation and regulations.

  • You have experience with payroll and affinity with finance
  • Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
  • Professional and Intellectual ability at Higher Educational level (HBO) working and thinking level
