Client & Investment Services

Client Services, part of the Client & Investment Services department, situated in Rotterdam and Hong Kong is assisting our global sales and account management network to serve Robeco’ s existing clients. Client Services is providing a high level of service to clients with the goal of creating high quality, trust-based relationships and increasing client satisfaction. Client Services is responding to a constant flow of queries, requests for ad-hoc information and solving problems on behalf of our clients while ensuring that all activities of the firm are in line with commitments, Investment Guidelines, Compliance/Regulatory requirements and in compliance with our control frame work.

Your role

The Client Service Manager is primarily responsible to service the client’s needs by phone, mail, personal contact and/or together with the Relation/Sales Managers. We expect the Client Service Manager to really add value in the chain between the client and Robeco and therefore need a self-confident and strong sparring partner for our clients and stakeholders.

  • Internal Account Management: Partnering with Robeco Global Sales and Account Management teams & other internal stakeholders/Client account oversight and monitoring clients’ IMA commitments
  • Client Management: Responding to daily, informal ad-hoc client enquiries & requests on diverse, non-investment-related servicing matters/Information customization/Problem-solving/Incident communication /Consultant, Administrator, Custodian, KVG or other third-party client advisor communications, etc.
  • Process Management: Client onboarding/Contract Management/Report distribution/Home-office support to sales and client relations teams globally/Information sharing
  • Operational Support: Subscription and redemption processing/ Cash & Trade Support queries/Client Issue Resolution
  • Special Actions: Compliance tracking and reporting/Invoice distribution/Due diligence request and meetings/Client communications of Robeco Corporate updates/Participation in special projects ·

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant full-time work experience, preferably within Client Services team
  • Academic or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related business or financial field preferred
  • Knowledge about asset management and in particular segregated accounts (mandates)
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Possession of strong analytical skills, detail-oriented while remaining pragmatically minded
  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working in a fast paced and expanding environment.
  • Have a true global mindset; sensitive for cultural differences
