Our Management and Sales Team

With a decade in the Middle East, investors have the advantage of global strength and support in combination with our local knowledge. The Robeco Middle East team is led by Graham Elliot. Graham is supported by country managers covering the six GCC countries as well as Africa and Central Asia. This team is complemented by additional staff based at the Robeco Middle East office in Dubai International Financial Centre.

Graham Elliot joined Robeco as Managing Director, Head of Middle East & Africa in January 2012. Graham is responsible for Robeco’s strategic and tactical operating decisions and for overseeing and growing both the institutional and wholesale business in the Middle East region, as well as being tasked with further development and growth of Robeco’s presence in Africa and Central Asia. In December 2015, this role was extended on an interim basis, to include the institutional client business in Asia (ex Japan & Australia).

Graham has been working in institutional asset management for more than two decades, of which the past six years have been focused on the Middle East. Prior to joining Robeco, Graham held senior positions in the Middle East for Barclays Global Investors (latterly BlackRock), where as Head of Business, he was responsible for setting up their business in the region in 2007. More recently, he was CEO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners Middle East based out of Bahrain.

Previous to his move to the Middle East, Graham covered European institutional investors and pension funds for BGI, Legal & General Investment Management and Mercers from the UK.

Graham holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Birmingham University.

Amr Albialy

Amr Albialy is Robeco's Regional Director in charge of the United Arab Emirates ,the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar. He is responsible for growing and servicing institutional clients, mainly Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Central Banks and Government Institutions.

Amr has been working in the institutional asset management for more than a decade. He joined Robeco in July 2011 from Emirates NBD Asset Management, where he was the Head of Business Development. He brings with him more than 12 years of experience in Trading, Asset Management and Private Equity at international financial institutions including HSBC and Deutsche Bank. Previously, Amr worked as Director, Head of Structured Products and Distribution at the Investment Banking subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank.

Amr graduated with honors from the City University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration. He has furthermore completed the Pension Fund and Investment Management program from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Maria Broskov Jensen is a Regional Director in charge of Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Levant & southern Africa. She is responsible for growing and servicing Institutional clients: Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Central Banks and Government Institutions.

Maria Broskov Jensen joined Robeco in October 2009. Maria has lived and worked in the Gulf since 2006. Prior to joining Robeco, she worked as Manager of Corporate Communications for a division of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.

 Maria holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from University of Southern Denmark.

Victoria Iovva joined Robeco Middle East in October 2012 and brings with her more than 12 years of experience.
   
Victoria has been working at Robeco in the Netherlands since January 2007, covering and servicing institutional clients in; Middle East, Asia and Northern America. Victoria is currently responsible for client coverage in the broader GCC region, and specifically relationship management and business development in Pakistan & Central Asia. Previously Victoria has worked for KPMG and Ecorys, a Dutch researched based consultancy firm.
   
 Victoria holds International MBA Degree in General Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Gillian Brown joined Robeco in Dubai in April 2012 and is a Director (Client Account & Operational Management). She has worked in the industry for more than two decades and has extensive experience with institutional clients, including Sovereign Wealth Funds and Government Institutions, in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

Gillian is responsible for all operational aspects of the Robeco Middle East office, as well as Client Account Management, Sales Support and Marketing. In addition, she is responsible for distribution partners in Africa and the Levant.

Gillian previously worked in London for Fidelity (FIL) and Capital International.
