Robeco is an independent member of the Rabobank Group. Within the Rabobank Group, Robeco is the center of expertise for asset management, and operates an independent investment policy.

Long-term cooperation

The cooperation between Robeco and the Rabobank Group began in 1990. Since then, Rabobank branches have also offered Robeco investment funds. In February 1997, the Rabobank Group became a 50% shareholder of Robeco, with the option to purchase the remaining 50% after 27 February 2001. A decision to exercise this option was taken on 29 August 2000.
