Sales Manager Alternative Investments Switzerland

Robeco Group has offices in several countries which are responsible for the sales of Robeco’s investment solutions within geographical markets. Our products (funds, alternatives, research, etc.) are sold to retail markets through third party distribution (banks and insurance companies) and directly to Institutional investors.

For our office in Zurich, Switzerland we are looking for a Sales Manager Alternative Investments.

Job description

The Sales Manager Alternative Investments reports hierarchically to the Country Manager Switzerland and has a functional reporting line with head Sales Alternative Investments in Rotterdam You are expected to attract new clients and maintain and expand the existing client relationships in order to sell the Robeco Alternative Investment products. You will analyse the client’s situation and give advice within the guidelines with regard to the products and services to increase the client’s satisfaction. 
You will identify and actively follow trends in the market, pass these on to the relevant marketing and product development departments and help increase the profitability and create new and better products and services. You enjoy both long and short sales processes and know the importance of cooperation with other disciplines in order to implement contracts successfully.

Requirements

You act at an Academic level and have been working for at least 5 years in the Financial, preferably Asset Management market in Switzerland. You know the Swiss business culture, the players, their interests, both Institutional and B2B. You have proven yourself in a sales position for at least 4 years and know how to sell in the Institutional market. You are a good listener who wants to understand the client’s requests in order to advise on the best products and services. You presentation is firm and you know what you are talking about. You have a strong drive to perform but know when to be patient. We prefer someone who knows the Swiss culture and of course you are fluent in the German, French and English language.
