Changes Emerging Markets team

Victoria Mio moves to Hong Kong, Cornelis Vlooswijk and Dimitri Chatzoudis join the Emerging Markets team.

On 1 July 2008, Victoria Mio, senior portfolio manager in the Emerging Markets team, moves from Rotterdam to Hong Kong. Victoria Mio will manage Robeco Chinese Equities from our office in Hong Kong where she will report to Arnout van Rijn, CIO Hong Kong. Jaap van der Hart will take responsibility for the coverage of China within the Emerging Markets team in Rotterdam.

On 1 June 2008, Cornelis Vlooswijk joins the Emerging Markets team as senior analyst. Cornelis has worked for IRIS since 2005 as an investment strategist focusing on North America, Latin America and emerging markets. Prior to this he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as an investment-banking analyst.

Dimitri Chatzoudis joins the Emerging Markets team on 1 June as well. His task will be to focus on Africa and Eastern Europe. Dimitri will be senior portfolio manager for the Robeco Afrika Fonds.

Having held various positions at ABN AMRO Asset Management over the last fifteen years, Dimitri has gained many years of experience as senior portfolio manager with a selection of different emerging-markets equity funds. As of 2005, he held the position of senior portfolio manager and vice president of ABN AMRO Global Emerging Markets Equity. Before that he was senior portfolio manager (2000-2005) and vice president of ABN AMRO Eastern Europe Equity. 

Dimitri graduated from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and is a chartered investment analyst (VBA).
