Robeco wins Global Pensions Award

Emerging-markets manager of the year

Robeco has been awarded the Global Pensions Award 2007 for its Robeco Emerging Markets Equities fund. This prestigious international prize is awarded every year to the best-performing suppliers of investment products for institutional investors. 

“Since the formation of Robeco’s Emerging Markets Equities team 14 years ago, this is the best award we have won so far” says Wim-Hein Pals, head of the Robeco Emerging Markets Equities team. “Especially since only the best international emerging-markets equity managers are nominated for this award. I am very proud of our team, whose members are characterized by diversity, reliability and ample experience. Our track record over recent years is an impressive reflection of our professional approach in the segment of fast-growing and dynamic countries.

The list of nominees was drawn up after a poll among the readers of Global Pensions Magazine. An independent international panel of key decision-makers from pension funds and consultancy firms chose the winner in each category on the basis of a short résumé presented by the nominees themselves. The panel declared Robeco the winner in the emerging-markets category.
