As of June 2013, Alan Ho joined the Asia-Pacific team as a research analyst. Alan started his career in the retail banking and wealth management industry at HSBC in 2012. He speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Alan Ho holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto.
As of September 2013, Liying Du joined the Asia-Pacific team as a research analyst. Prior to joining Robeco, she spent four years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a research analyst, and covered a number of different sectors in the Greater China space including utilities, alternative energy, small caps, and real estate. She is a native speaker of Mandarin. Liying holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in economics and minored in mathematics and statistics.
As of September 2013, Robbert van den Barselaar, industrials analyst within the Global Equity team in Rotterdam, has left Robeco to pursue other career opportunities. Chris Berkouwer has taken over Robbert’s responsibilities in the industrials sector. Chris joined Robeco in 2010. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst for the The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. At Robeco, he conducted country, industry and company studies for various equity teams. He holds Master's degrees in Business Administration and International Public Management from the Erasmus University.
