Expected Returns 2014-2018
Robeco has published a report estimating expected returns for the most important asset classes for the next five-year period: 2014 to 2018. In it, we deviate from our previously anticipated long-term expected return for the period 2014-2018 based on the current macro-economic environment and valuations. Compared to last year, we have lowered inflation expectations to 2%. We underpin our analyses by adding three special economic topics to this report: the outlook for the European Banking Union; Abenomics in Japan; and the impact of shale gas for the US.

Please contact the Consultant Relations team if you would like to obtain a copy of the report on expected returns.

Results Announced for 2013 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes Review
Each year, the new composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is disclosed. The DJSI is based on RobecoSAM’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment. The DJSI follows a best-in-class approach, including companies across all industries that outperform their peers in a variety of sustainability metrics. This year the DJSI World 2013/2014 will have 333 components, following 39 additions and 47 deletions from the index. Launched in 1999, the DJSI was the first global index to track the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.
