Results Announced for 2012 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes Review
Each year, the new composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is disclosed. The DJSI is based on the SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).  The DJSI follow a best-in-class approach, including companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics. This year the DJSI World 2012/2013 will have 340 components as 41 companies will be added to, and 41 firms will be deleted from the index.

The index family has approximately USD 6 billion in assets under management in a variety of financial products including mutual funds, separate accounts, structured products and ETFs serving asset managers and banks in 15 countries.
 
Robeco joins United Nations Environment Programme
Recently, Robeco became a member of the Finance Initiative of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP FI). UNEP FI is a partnership between the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the global financial sector.  UNEP FI works closely with over 200 financial institutions and a range of partner organizations to develop and promote linkages between sustainability and financial performance. Through networks, research and training, UNEP FI promotes the adoption of best environmental and sustainability practice at all levels of financial institution operations. Members are financial institutions from the banking, insurance and investment sectors.
