Dutch do not settle for negative interest on savings

Rotterdam, 15 April 2015 – 87 percent of Dutch citizens with available capital of EUR 5,000 or more per household do not accept negative interest on savings. That was the outcome of the recently launched Robeco National Investment Barometer. Robeco commissioned Ruigrok | NetPanel to carry out the study to examine sentiment on saving and investing. Of the respondents with money in a savings account, 16 percent expect soon to face negative interest on their savings.
